- 21st Century Community Learning Center Part-time Coordinator
21st Century Community Learning Center Part-time Coordinator needed at BOLD School for the 2017-2018 school year. This person is responsible for students in our out of student support program. The program will operate before and after school daily. This position will set the programs and oversee the teachers and paraprofessionals working in the Warriors’ Den. - Full-time Elementary Literacy Tutor for BOLD Elementary
Experience life-changing growth. Become a Minnesota Reading Corps literacy tutor at BOLD Elementary. Tutors are hired by Minnesota Reading Corps, a branch of AmeriCorps. New this year there are two options for serving in this position.
You could be a full time, 11 month tutor and receive a living stipend of about $574 biweekly, an education award of $5,815 and other benefits if eligible.
You could be a ¾ time tutor, working during school hours with little or no hours beyond school time. This position receives $424.52 biweekly, an education award of $4138.19 and other benefits if eligible. (New option!)
Elementary Literacy Tutors work one-on-one with students in kindergarten through grade 3 who need help learning to read. Tutors receive extensive training in research based literacy interventions. They then use these literacy interventions to teach students, with support from someone at BOLD Elementary who can answer questions as they practice their new skills. The tutor will also give short tests called weekly progress monitoring to measure the growth of the student and to check that the right intervention is being used.

Computer skills, including the ability to navigate and use online database systems and e-mail
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Evidence that you are responsible, organized, flexible, and professional
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to make a commitment to complete the entire school year and the summer trainings
High school diploma or GED and must be at least 18-years-old U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien
